Ok, I know the answer to this must be simple, but I can not find it in the documentation. I am running SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition on a Windows 2003 Server. I have restored a backup from another server and all is well. There happened to be a table that did not make it in the initial backup, so now what I want to know is there a way to just backup one or two tables within a database and restore them to the destination server where they currently do not reside?

Thank you very much for answering.

No there is not. You should use DTS to import the tables that are missing.

Right click on the database on the source server and select all tasks -> import. The wizard will walk you through the import.

If the table existed in the database when the backup was taken then it is included in the backup. There is no way to exclude files from a database backup.

Denny, Just to clarify, the table was there but the contents were supposed to have populated the table did not come along. Someone forgot to populate the table. Thank both of you for your answers.
