We're using Veritas backup exec 8.6 and are unable to backup shares on computers across the network. We were able to do this in previous versions and it's more than a bit of a pain in the arse that we can't do it now. We get messages in the log stating we need an agent for windows 2k to do this (the shares are on a server). Any ideas ?
