I'm trying to backup to another drive my Outlook Express 6.0 folders - ie - things I want to keep and have for reference later .. it's telling me to find the created folders with the ".dbx" extensions .. after doing a search nothing is coming up as the path for the folders are as follows -

C:\Documents and Settings\Cindy\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{8D32DF8B-D3B8-4783-A0C5-FE37E2FC8659}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Reference.dbx

Please advise as to how I might copy these files and then delete them from my folders .. since they will be backed up to another location .. Thanks .. CW

These folders are hidden. Since you seem to be using XP, use XP's search function - under Advanced options, be sure to check the options for searching system & hidden folders. Then search for *.dbx
