Backing up open Microsoft office files

Hi does anyone know how to lock opened office files in order to back them up. I am using Backup Exec and the program skips over access, excel, etc.

You have to get Backup Exec's Open File Option. You need to pay a license fee for this option. Its suppose to backup a file even when its opened by someone. But sometimes it sticks and hangs the server. Its hit & miss, maybe the newer versions fix this.
