Backing up Netware 5.1 with Legato 6.0.1 Build 174

Any Novell/Legato experts out there? I have the follow problem:
A NT4 SP6 backup server, that is backing up Unix and NT clients with no problems, however when I try to backup a Novell client it backs up the SYS volume okay but the USER volume fails. The only difference is the USER volume is NSS. It is unable to start a data stream. (it does have rights to the volume)
Anybody any ideas.

I actually had a Legato engineer come out to fix my Netware problems. I feel for you, really I do.

There were several things that needed ot be changed on our servers. One of which was the rpcnet.cfg file. The correct binding order for TCP/IP networks is
tispx
tcp
udp
spx
ipx
This is contrary to everything I found in techdialog, but setting this up solved my problems.

What kind of Support Pack do you have on the NetWare Server?
Actual is the SP3 with a new TSA500.NLM. Or you can try the TSA500 multi connection fix, TSA500 from the 13 Aug 2001 but this one is in the beta status.
I have heared that there are problems with the 6.0.x version of the NetWorker. Try to upgrade to 6.1. For the 6.1 there is another patch, but I don´t know the exact Patch ID. In the version 6.1.1 witch schould come next month the patch wil be integrated.
Ask your support for a NetWare patch.
Also try the NetWorker NetWare Client version 4.2, now eval schould be next month official.
