Can anyone throw any light on why our BackUp Exec 11D backup job fails every night, due to it trying to backup two emails in two peoples mailboxes that were deleted a long time ago.

The error we get are:

WARNING: "\\[servername]\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes\[username]?Top of Information Store?Deleted Items?Hot 2007 USA Toy Craze Webkinz Now In The UK - 25% OFF!" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.

However - there is no email of this name in the users deleted items. Is there anything we can do to stop this happening?

Thanks in advance

Its stuck in your exchange server. Try rebooting the exchange server or start/stop Infostore. It could be antivirus as well. If you download MFCMapi from Microsoft web site and logon to the problem mailboxes you will probably see the email. Another solution you may have to take is export mailboxes out to PST and delete/recreate themailboxes and import everything back in except the deleted items

Most likely its your av software causing the problem
