Hello,
I have been researching backup strategies but am unsure of what to apply to this new environment.
We have Exchange 2003 running on Windows 2003, active / passive cluster.
Our backup software is Arcserve 11.1
We have the basic Exchange Agent (brick level)and the premium level Exchange Agent (document level).

What is the best way to back up this environment?

Do I bother with backing up the 2 physical nodes or do I focus on the Virtual Exchange Server.

The Virtual Exchange Server tree also provides choice of the database/IS backup, and the document level backup.

Is is best to back these up together or separate?

Thank you for your time
