Hello,

When I want to back-up al the reports, schedules, instances etc, do I only have to back up the directories 'input', 'output', and 'temp'? Please try to ignore the fact that I'm very onknown with this kind of matter.

Thanks, Jeroen.

Hi Jeroen,

Backup the input, output and temp directories. And the SQL/MSDE database which the CMS uses.

As far as I know that's it.

Hi,
as with any backup process, you should schedule it when the system is not busy ( preferably, when it is idle or shutdown) to avoid missing the latest FRS entries
- the CMS( or APS depending on your version) database backup may present special issues depending on what database you use..
