I am trying to back up the Avaya System Manager CM 6.2 to a remote server. The problem is that it requires an SFTP server. I am trying to find out what kind of SFTP servers every one is using. I have had people tell me COPSSH, WinSCP, etc. Please advise as I cannot get the backup to work with FTP and I keep getting alarm messages from system manager about the backup. Thanks.

What are the alarm messages, they can tell you alot.
This may not help in your situation, My network storage guy set up a user name/password and folder for me on our NetOp.
When I set up sftp on the Sys Manager I put in the server IP, the port (make sure you're using the right port) username/password and path to the folder.
