Backing up an Octel 250... how can it be done if no tapedrive?

Hello All, does an Octel 250 automatically comes with a tape drive for backups?

if not, how can we backup the configuration and all voicemails messages and programming? Is it possible to connect a 300 Gig USB HD to it and back it up on it?

No can do. You must have a tape drive for the system or a spare disk drive but the disk drive will only backup database on the system drive not any messages.

If you need a tape backup let me know.

No not all of them do. It is an option that you must pay for. I think most of the ones sold in the last year or 2 may have come with it but it can be added to any aria 250. The 350's allways come with a tape drive.
