Hi

Can someone please tell me how to get the options for system state and active directory in the Arcserve backup browser window on 2K DCs. From what I have read, all you need is the nt\2000 client, I have this installed but the options still do not appear under the server.

Backup Server is Win2K server SP3 with ARCserve 2000, and NT\2000 client agent on Domain Controller (W2K server (SP3))

Any advice greatfully recieved...
cheers

P Bro

You have to add the client agent to the tree in the ARCserve manager and view the sys state there. Add the agent under "Client Agents \ Windows NT / Windows 2000 Agents".

If you browse to the machine using "Preferred Machines" or through "Network" then you aren't using the agent and won't see the sys state.
