Backing up a Snap Server

Is it possible to backup my Snap Server with Arcserve 2000 Workgroup edition. I recieve the error that the snap is not supported with "this edition", but it would be ridiculous to upgrade to Advanced edition b/c it is a small, single server network with only 10 clients - not to mention the extra cost! The server is NT4.0 Sp6a with all current hotfixes, Arcserve 2000 Sp3.
