Hi,

Whats is the best way to backup a domain controller on Win2k Server.

I dont want to purchase any additional software.... Is it just ok to copy certain folders (sysvol etc) or is the only sure fire way to use NTBackup?

Any help gratefully received.

Windows 2000 Backup will backup AD (system state) for you. There is an article on Technet regarding backup/restore procedures using this method (sorry don't recall the URL offhand)
