backgrounds need to extend to bottom of page

if you look at the bottom you'll see that nothing is aligning together...i need for those two gold sections to go down to the same level as whatever the left side nav grows to be...i know how to explicitly set the height in those gold divs, but that does me no good if the left menu grows beyond that...

and i need the picture on the far right to have a background that extends to the bottom as well
