hello,

I'm french, sorry for my bad english.
This is my problem, in COREL DRAW 11 :

I want to create a GIF : blue ellipse with no-visible bacground, for use it for exemple in a red HTML page.

OK, but the result is not so good, because there is a very slim line (with the same color of the background in file of corel draw, in this case white) which is visible around my the thing (that is to say the blue ellipse)

please go to this adress =>>> there, you can find the result

SO, please how can I do to obtain a beautiful blue ellipse without white line border

thank you very much.

I remember this being discussed on another news group, I think it was something to do with anti alaising being turned on or off, but I am only going from memory.

Alan

This is what I usually do for transparency in a graphic. Since your elipse is on a red background, create a red box behind your blue elipse that is the same color (hex #) as your background red. When you go to export as a GIF, once your in the transparency menu, select the image color button as the tranparent colour by using the eyedropper tool and select that background. Then save the GIF. Your blue elipse should appear transparent over the red background. It will have a slight red outline around the blue elipse, but will not be visible.

I read the solution on this site :

- choose CMJN mode
- and as you said : anti alaising being turned off

thank you for your response
