I have a main flash file which is large, and calls up some background swf's. For some reason, it seems like 1 out of 5 people cannot see the background loaded up at all. I have two computers in my house, both with the same settings, and on one computer, it won't load up. Some of my friends tell me they cannot see the background swf loaded up at all. Would there be any reason behind this at all?

Want to offer any more details ... like what levels what SWFs are loaded into, and indication of content in each SWF? URL, possibly ... ?

I didn't want to show the link yet until I fully finished my site, but here goes:

Each of the buttons on the top right should make a full subtle background appear. If you can see it, you're fine, but some people, about 1 in 5, cannot see it for some reason.

Also, any feedback on my new site would be greatly welcomed.

By the way, I have an external swf movieclip loaded in the main swf, in a movieclip of a background layer that takes up the whole stage area.

Well I see it fine! Nice design!

Have you been able to determine what common factors may prevent some viewers from seeing them?
Ask them their OS and browsers used! Regards,

The problem was they did not have the latest flash 6 plugin installed. They had flash 5, but not 6. Thanx for all you guy's help though.

I think mostly likely they do not have the latest flash plugin. you can search for flash.ocx or swflash.ocx in each of your computer.

flash.ocx- flash MX plugin
swflash.ocx is flash 5 or below plugin

you can right click the file to see their version

Now that I know the problem, is there a way I can check for the version and if they don't have it, make them go to another page?
