When I make a movie and make it the size of the white box, then I go to "test movie" and what comes out is that the edge of the object is a 1" away from the edge. I tried this over and over with different settings. I want the movie just to play the white box but it goes outside the white box, I will select a color for the background, and when I do the test movie it makes a green or whatever color I choose border around the movie itself. Is there any way to select exactly the perimeters for it to play?

It will do this in "test move" most of the time. I guess it depends on the dimensions of your movie in the first place. If you want to get an exact idea of what it will look like when published, publish it and then view the .swf directly or with the .swf within a html page. I am doing a site at the moment that sits in the center of a html page so I tend to view it through that to get an idea of what it looks like. roda B-)
