Background music to play even when minimize window

I hope this is the appropriate location for posting this sort of a question. recently put together a web site,

, using Frontpage currently, and plan to eventually move it over to DreamWeaver.
My question is this: how do you set the backround music to play even when the window is minimized?

Why do you want to assult a use with the music if they have minimized the window?

There is no way that you can do this... the various browsers on the market stop playing sound (or rather, don't repeat the sound loop) when they are minimised. This goes for MacOSX as well as Windows browsers.

Initially (like the first time or 2), background music is cute, but if someone views the site in an office setting, it's distracting to those around. It's one of those things that appeals to the owner of the site and the designer, but few who actually visit there.

In general, I'd say that background music is okay for kiddie sites, but no more than a couple cycles through for non-kiddie sites, and give the viewer an opportunity to turn it off permanently for your site.
