Hey Everyone,

We have a radio attached to our BCM50 system so the employees can listen to music while working.

We have 21 phones (16 Digital Sets, 3 i2004, 1 1140e and 1 i2002) and normally maybe 2-3 people listen to the music throughout the day.

The odd thing is the background music works on all, but on phone (the i2002), which displays "Not Available" when I try to enter Feature 86.

The problem is I can't remember if it had worked in the past (and therefore it may just be that an i2002 can't play music).

I know this is not a major issue or anything..... just something that's a little odd. Any Ideas? Can anyone with an i2002 try to use Background Music and see if it works?

Thanks

I think the 50 is the same as the 400 4.0 for this. Have a look at the restrictions tab for the set's dn then look at the set properties tab. Check to make sure that set lock is set to either none or partial. If it's set to full, you won't be able to change the music setting.

Thanks for the Tip emillysdad

I took a look at the restrictions and none are set. I also copied all the settings from a working phone to this phone and still no luck.

Oh well, not a big deal. I'm just going to assume that it's not capable of playing music.
