Background Music on Merlin Plus? 1

Is it possible to have the MOH music source play as background music on a Merlin Plus system? We are using 5 button and Bis10 phones.

Any help would be appreciated.

Plug an 8-ohm music on hold source into the RCA phono jack on the front of the control unit. Background music feature on/off is controlled at the console. Default setting is on, at medium volume.

Thanks for your reply to my post about background music on Merlin. I have a couple of questions: Do I need a special console to program the music? What key do I push on the individual phone sets to turn the music on or off? Thanks, Dave

Background music through the telephones is not availbale on the Merlin Plus.

THEN WHERE DOES BACKGROUND MUSIC COME OUT AT IF IT DOESN'T COME OUT ON THE PHONES???

You will hear it through the external paging system only. (if you have one) Background music is not available through the telephone sets like in most other systems.
