The AOL browser seems to think that my background image has finished and starts it from the begining 2/3 of the way through the page going right to left.
IE does not. How can this be fixed?
T.I.A

it could be a few things. #1, it could be stuck in the cache. AOL is a tricky browser- it's basically like IE, but not quite (any graphics developers develop with the .ART extension?)... and from what I know, it accesses the same cache as IE, but maybe in a different place. Try pressing "SHIFT" and the Refresh button at the same time, and if that doesn't work, try clearing your cache... And if that still doesn't work, try loading the graphic on its own in AOL (as a URL), without the html page in front of it. See if you only get 2/3. If you get the whole thing, then try the webpage again. If that doesn't work.. is this an original bg graphic? Try opening it up in your graphics editor of choice and resaving it. Sometimes that helps.

If you're still having problems, send me the URL and I'll see what I can do :eek:) Best of luck...
Liam Morley
lmorley@wpi.edu
<a href=] :: imotic :: website :: [
"light the deep, and bring silence to the world.
Actually AOL browser, is an older version of IE, it uses one of it's DLL that is the main browser interface, basically AOL gotten real lazy and just used old stuff, and turned all their services into HTML pages, so there is really nothing AOL could offer you, that you cant get on a regular ISP(other than *membership*) and to keep in touch with old AOLers, use AIM(aol instant messager) but it May be possible to just use an external browser with AOL(which I assume you do sometimes)
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)
