Hi,

Here's the situation. I have created a page If you view the source code you'll see that there should be a gif image to the left and right of the top navigation bar. They are just extensions of the colors so the page goes edge to edge. The problem is that when I preview this page from Dreamweaver into Explorer - the sides show up. When I upload the page and view the page in any browser the side images disappear. The sides are set as backgrounds to table cells. <td background=___.gif> etc.

I'm stuck, if anyone can please give me a fix I would greatly appreciate it!

Have you checked that the 'side' image has been uploaded onto the server ?

Cheers

John

Hi,

Thanks so much for the reply. You were right - the file had not uploaded. However when I did upload it - I still don't see it.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks again,
Lori

Disregard my last post. I thought I had cleared the cache but apparently it didn't take. When I quit and restarted my browser the sides appeared! Thank you so much, I struggled with this for two days and it never even occurred to me that the file had not uploaded. Generally when a file doesn't upload you get that box with the x. I'm guessing that because it was a background image it was handled differently.

Thanks again, John - you rock!
