Background image slideshow with fading effect?

Hi,
I've used some scripts earlier that randomly loads images and have them fade out and in.

This time I would like to have a background image to do the same, randomly load a background, like a slideshow while the visitor stays on the page, with a fade in and out effect when changing.

Make sense? Possible?

Anything's possible. This is doable in JavaScript so ask this in the JS forum. Or, you can do a google search for "javascript fading background" and see what comes back.
