hey guys!

I was wondering if this is possible?

could we stretch a background image to fit the current resolution (without resorting to layers)? i mean i have a background image that fits well when the page is viewed in 800*600 resolution. When this is viewed at a much higher resolution, it creates gaps on all sides. in this case, i want the background image to "strech" appropriately to the current screen resolution. any ideas?

i hope u ppl can help me. pls.

thanks in advance,

biggie

i dunno if it's possible, but i thought the following might help you :)

<!-- repeat the image horizontally
-->
<body style=&quot;background-repeat:repeat-x&quot; background=&quot;mybg.jpg&quot;></body>
<!-- repeat the image vertically -->
<body style=&quot;background-repeat:repeat-y,repeat-x&quot; background=&quot;mybg.jpg&quot;></body> ....:::::.... xxLargeWASP ....:::::....
