background color replacement

I have quite a few computers with photoshop running on them, and on all of them, the anything white is replaced with yellow. you can even open a color palette, and where the white should be, it is yellow. how can i fix this?

Check out the Adobe Gamma system control panel. This is what adjusts your monitor settings to approximate color. If it is out of whack, it could turn things yellow.
