BackEnd 2000 - FrontEnd 2003 and FrontEnd 2000 Formats

Does anyone knows about the incompatibly?

If the first FrontEnd 2003 version link to a BackEnd 2000 version. The FrontEnd 2000 Format is unable to Connect or Link the Tables.

If the first FrontEnd 2000 version link to a BackEnd 2000 version. No problems, but FrontEnd 2003 version cannot connect.

I just need my FrontEnd 2000 version to connect to the BackEnd 2000 version, but if the user is connected, I can't link to the BackEnd. Anyone knows why?

PS. The frontend and backend are not corrupted, it's fine.
