Has anyone heard of this one? The virus software I have identifies it as AnFTP.1. The path to it is as follows.
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\REGRUNCHK.EXE. I am not exatly sure if I should delete it, or if I go into the registry, what to look for. Can anyone provide any information on this virus as I can't find any on the internet.

Go to Dr.Web's site and look at the description. You ARE using Dr.Web right? :)

It's a trojan (not a virus) that can allow a hacker access to your system. If you can't delete it due to an error then delete it into the recycle bin from safe mode. It won't be running there. Or press ctrl + alt + del and end task on REGRUNCHK and then delete it. Also, look in msconfig for an entry pointing to REGRUNCHK.EXE and uncheck it then ok out and restart. (start--run--type msconfig--ok--startup tab)After restarting run another scan to see if it's gone for sure.
