Back up procedure for HDD to compact flash?

System: Hipath 4000 V5

I need to back up the system in my spare compact flash, question is that is this the right amo for saving the back up?,

It's about right.

Area E will boot the system if the HD is dead, so that's the important one.

Area F which you haven't copied can have regen's on so that is useful to have. There is probably some instruction on this site somewhere for how to make a regen.

Area I should contain the Unixware installation files - it's useful to have maybe if you need to replace the HD so you can reinstall the Unixware, but you could just copy those files off somewhere with ComwinFT and keep them. They won't change and they don't boot the system. Area I may even be empty if someone has made an init on it, and then there's nothing in there you want.

The main decision is to backup the HiPath telephone system (not unixware) to the CF
This is done as follows:
DEA-DSSM;A1,6;
PUT IN CF CARD
STA-INIT:A1,A1H61;
(yes)
ACT-DSSM:A1,6;
DEA-DSSM:A1,6;
COPY-DDRSM:A1,1,E&F,6,E&F,N;
Remove CF when finished - you now have a copy of the HiPath telephone system
For the Unix you need to copy E&I
