back up on partner rel 3 not acs

Is there anyway to do a backup on a Partner Rel 3. There's not a slot for a pmcia card like the acs. Enerytime we have a power outage the wjole system has to be redone.

I can't think of any way to save a configuration on non-ACS Partner processors. Older processors have an internal battery. If that battery is dead, programming will be lost during power failures.

Options would be to get a new processor, add a high capacity UPS or upgrade to the Avaya Partner ACS to take advantage of the PCMCIA backup feature.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

there is a battery soldered on the processor if your comfortable with board level soldering replacing it is fairly easy and inexpensive permanent fix
