Back up FTP

We are having a problem trying to back up our FTP server via Arc Serve throught a firewall in the DMZ. Can we map a drive on a local machine in our network and then have Arc Serve Back it up from there?

What kind of problems do you have. Can you resolve it by opening port 6050 which is used by the ARCserve Client Agent to comunicate through the DMZ??

We did. It times out after about 10-15 minutes with a reconnection error.
