Hi,

Im new to DHCP and we are planning to move on to DHCP soon. First we are planning to do a test on a back to back connectivity.

We have remote sites connected on point to point and frame relay using EIGRP as the routing protocol.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me a sample configuration on back to back connectivity for DHCP on frame relay and point to point. This will help me do a test before we use DHCP.

Hope someone helps

Are the Routers the DHCP clients or are they just forwarding DHCP requests?

What Im planning to do is to setup two networks where they will have DHCP servers on each network. The router will do a DHCP request when the DHCP services or the DHCP server went down or the server is disconnected.

So its gonna be like one primary DHCP server and one secondary DHCP server that will be located on another network.

Hope Im clear
