I have a 3 step registration process. On step 3 there is a submit button, that leads you

to your confirmation page where you can check the details you have choosen. Now if

the user would like to change a detail they will have to navigate back to the page

where they want to change their detail. Here’s my question when I am testing this and

I hit back I sometimes get this page has expired or something to that effect so I might

have to navigate back a few times before I get the correct page .

Is there anyway to avoid this so that the back navigation is always smooth.

Hi,

I think it's great that you are active on this forum, but however: Cant you keep your posts in the threads that you created, which are related in the same issue?

This makes it much simpler for us to keep track of what mods you already have done, as well as it does not generate thousands of threads on each issue per script.

Other than that:
You dont want the user to depend on hitting the "back" button to make changes, I would rather make some link: "modify data", or something in that form.

That link can then bring him/her back to the first page, or maybe you'll just have a new form, which makes it possible for the user to make changes to his/her fields.

I would however consider the possibilities that the user can enter data which has errors, so you would have to revalidate the changes.

ps. one option is also to let the user change his/her data after he/she is registerred.
