Although not yet gainfully re-employed, I have decided to get to work publishing tips and tricks in REXX and so have started a blog: REXXpertise and I have promised myself to try to make a daily post.

All y'all are, of course, invited over to see what's happening, maybe FOLLOW it, and make comments and corrections.

In the meantime, I'll be popping in here every now and then to see what sort of new and interesting problems are being raised.

Hi rexxhead,
It's nice to hear from you again :)
Your new blog is very interesting - I bookmarked it for regular reading.

I really appreciated your posts in every forum I find, especially those in the legendary mvshelp. Your blog will definitely be on my reading list every monday morning (at least).

Of course, everyone should "Follow" REXXpertise as a way of letting me know folks are actually looking at it on a regular basis. I've so far put up 12 posts (one-a-day) and there are no followers, not even any from the REXX Language Assn. I'm getting discouraged...

Don't be disappointed and keep on posting these valuable tips. "Following" a blog is not the only method to look out for new entries in your blog. For sure more and more people will get informed about your blog and will visit this site without officially "following" it. If you want to have more control and detailed information on the acceptance and usage of your information, you might create a full web site and let Google collect statistics about the traffic. I've done this already. The figures bear me out in continuously improving the site and adding further material to it.
Thus I understand your concerns and doubts. So a few seconds ago I actually have added myself as your first follower. ;-)

Well, now I truly am 'back in the saddle'. I found myself a gig at BofA in Dallas, so any of you lurkers who want to start a DARPA (Dallas Area REXX Programmers' Alliance) drop me a line at REXXhead at Yahoo dot com and we can congregate for adult carbonated beverages on a pre-arranged schedule :)
