DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ACCESS THE BACK DOOR TO AN OPTION 11C. WE HAVE A SWITCH THAT WAS PURCHASED IN THE SECONDARY MARKET AND THE PASSWORD DOES NOT WORK. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

the factory is set at 0000, that is often changed, the ONLY other way is to go through a vendor, they will need a letter of auth from your company, then they can dial in and reset it. last time a cust had us do that, the charge from nortel was 1600. and that was before our techs time and trip charge. You will also need the number off of the sec dongle, dime size, watch battery device plugged into your ssc card. without that you didn't buy a opt 11, just a small grey box used for holding cards.

If you have the key codes, why not just wipe the ssc and re install the software?

Then you back to good old 0000

Reinstallation of software is the best way if you have keycodes.

HOW DO YOU WIPE THE SSC?

I have an issue with option 11 system. I need to know how I can use one just for testing sets. I have a CPU/Conf card, TDS/DTR card, and digital line card. I'm using J-1 wired to a block for the ports. Please help, I'm stranded.
