You actually mean "you can use it", but it's not doing what you'd like it to do, right?
Do you want the back button, to back up in the .swf itself, or simply disable it completely?
There is a work-around for this using an invisible frame and some javascript...I will have to see if I can find the thread on this issue and post it.
Browser history only tracks changed pages and when in flash... pages usually do not change therefore hitting the back button does nothing. Ya' Gotta Love It!
