Back button not there for Pictures

Hi all,

There is a webpage offsite within our school's website (This webpage is managed on our Unix server locally but there is a link to it via our schools website remotely) that has several JPEG files. When navigating to the website remotely then pulling up this link from a menu and then opening up the JPEG files from here the picture comes up but has no options to click on to go back. In other words, there is basically no navigational toolbar that comes up. But if I navigate directly to the IP Address(I.E -

Http://12.x.x.x/~username)

I do get the toolbar with no problem. Weird huh? Here is a portion of the code that surrounds some of the jpeg files. Could someone tell me if I need to add/remove any code here?

if its a popup it sounds like the code for the popup has disabled the toolbars and menu and what not
