So, I've got Front Page and now I'm very stuck (and feel very frustrated!). I wanted to start the site from scratch and I thought I could do everything in FP that I did in Publisher. But how?? You can't even draw a box, let alone do Word Art. I don't want to import anything from Publisher, so how do I create boxes (NOT TEXT BOXES!!), position them, size them, colour fill them etc. etc.??

Please help, I'm up the creek without a paddle right now - not happy!!

Publisher is basically a drawing program, but FP isn't. That's why you're having problems. If you want a box, you'll have to use an image program like Image Composer (comes with FP2000) to create a graphic. Another choice is to create a table and color the individual cells.

In FrontPage the efficient way is also to place thingsin tables.
