Hi,

We are using BAB9 on a central server and a backup agent for NT and agent for SQL Server on 4 or 5 different boxes, these are all version 9 as well. All servers are Win2K SP3 or SP4.

When the job runs it backs up the databases correctly (we have restored them successfully) but in the ArcServe VLDB database, it reports that 0 bytes have been backed up for each database. When it backs up, ordinary files, it reports the number of bytes correctly in the VLDB.

Any clues as to what might cause this would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

1-How do you do the backup by selecting the database folder?
By default when you backup the volume where arcserve
installed it will backup vldb database.

2-Is open file agent installed?
3-Are you geeting any error while doing the backup?if yes paste it to the thread.
