B179 conference phone 1

hi

we have installed b179 avaya conference phone in ip office 500 but we could not register it
if any possible to send me steps to configure it

Create a SIP extension in the IPO office not a H323 extension. You will need VCM resources and an Avaya IP Endpoint license. You can leave all the B179 settings to default with the exception of the following. Account Name will be displayed on the B179, User and Authentication Name is the extension you created in IPO Manager, Password is the password on the User Tab and Telephony / Supervisor tab, registrar is the IP Office LAN address. Also, on the IPO LAN VOIP tab tick SIP Registrar Enable. Hope this helps.
