Hello Tek-Tips. I am being called in to remotely troubleshoot a B169 conference phone that won't set up. (There's lots of FaceTime as the person on site is admin, not technical). We're using CM r8.1. We use VLANs and all J100 series phones are not having an issue pulling a proper IP address. I was not present for the "installation," only the fixing. The phone should be pulling a 192.x.x.x IP and instead after the base syncs and the light goes steady green, it shows 169.x.x.x on the B169 status page.
B169 version: 2.0.3 (dated 6-24-21 on the screen)
IP DECT SC: 937 (no idea if this was updated)
Any hints as to where I need to focus effort would be greatly appreciated.
