Have a B149 on IPO R9.1, Can make conference calls on a PRI circuit fine,Disable PRI using SIP trunks for outgoing, everything works fine, all stations can conference outside calls fine, but analog device's can not conference 2 outside calls, can conference 1 outside party and another internal extension. But if I have a outside call on a SIP line, and I try to conference another outside call, after the flash hook, I press 9 for second dial tone, I will get a fast busy. This is only effecting analog devices with the SIP trunking. Thought I would post this on Tek-tips. When 9 is dialed it goes thru the ARS. Thought of adding another short code for access to the sip trunk and use that as the second call, but would prefer to press 9 again for second call. Thanks.

do you have call waiting enabled for that conf? try add 9N;/Dial/N as a short code.

Thanks for your reply icet500, did not work. I even created another short code with using the the ARS and also Group 17 for access to the sip trunks, as soon as a single line device flash's, which puts the first call on hold, at that point I can conference another internal extension, but if I dial a external access code (9) or any other that is programmed to reach another SIP trunk, I will get a busy signal. This only effects single line devices. Any idea's would be appreciated. Thanks

Can you run a trace from system status and another one using monitor with Sip filter enabled and set to verbose.
