/b Vb With Installshield

I have made a project in vb and i install it through install-shield
install-shield installed vb run time 6.0 (I need the files for working with my project).
I would like to know if someone had older vb runtime installed on is OS (like version 4.0 or 5.0) does it efect some programs (Older Programs that works with older runtime files) if i install vb run time 6.0
I tried to find info. on the MSDN without any success

Sometimes a program needs the older VB 5 runtime files. But the VB6 runtime file should not affect older programs.

ur old run time files will remain on the system
don't worry about the deletion or overwritting of those files by vb 6.0 run time files....
