I have version 9.0 build 4454 on Win2k platform with an LTO 122t unit. My b/u exec job engine keeps failing on my backup. This is a media server but my remote jobs that use the sql agent worked fine. It's when I try to backup the local media server with AOFO that the job is failing. I tried applying the service pack but it didn't help. I noticed some "quiet time errors" on some of the logs so I edited the registry to set it to 2. I couldn't adjust it through the wizard because it wouldn't let me connect using the credentials. I know I'm using the right id and password. I also turned on the debugging for the job engine but I'm not sure what to do with that yet. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm getting desperate to get a good backup. I've been fighting it for a week. Thanks in advance.
