I recently installed a partner T1 card upgraded to R6 and set up DID's. Everything seems to work well except we cannot transfer calls to the other office offsite(which has a Norstar system). I have no ideas except working with the flash timing? Or is this a CO issue?

You can not do a Hook flash call transfer (or RECALL call transfer in partner terms)with a DID line, It is a Centrex feature thet requires Loop Start Lines provisioned for centrex

True, you cannot do a line transfer via CO side feature on a T-1. However, you can forward the DID call externally, which will simply do a trunk-trunk conference and dial the destination. Uses two trunks for each forwarded call for the duration of the call, but works well enough for limited applications.

Thanks, so the T1 CO dosen't recognize centrex and you can forward the DID which conferences two trunks which will help with some issues, but can you also answer a call with the partner and transfer the answered call off site with some other feature? I will test more today for other options. Thanks.

Did you enable remote call forwarding in system programming (#322) for extensions? I normally set that up for an extension and call forward that extension to personal speed dial 80 with the number to the offsite place in that speed dial bin. I then just do a direct transfer to that extension, sending the call over to them. Should be easy to do with that software.

We all need a little help once in awhile. Tony the Phoneman..
