Enterprise edge 1000 last updated in 2000 rls201 using a PRI T1 that runs perfectly. How do you synch with NTP server to get the only issue with the machine fixed, the clock time on the sets. It already shows the correct time in the EE Manager, but with the new DST changing the time has required a hard reset. Do I have to do a hard reset of the system each daylight savings because of the old software?

I got the time changed without hard reset but still not sure how to synch the time with ntp server.

NTP sync didn't come out until release 2.5 FP1 if I'm remembering correctly. That was five years ago.

Install it on your PC. Run the program, enter the IP address of your BCM, username/password for the BCM, and workgroup as the workgroup/domain. The software will push out the new DST values to the registry of the BCM.

I hate to change a smooth running EE system, but I will try upgrade to something more recent. If I remember correctly I have to upgrade the hard drive and add software.
Thanks BIV

If you're on 2.01, you'll need an extra 128MB of RAM and a 20GB hard drive. If it was upgraded to 2.01, make sure it has a MSC 1A and not a MSC 1. Easy way to find out is look at your media bay modules - if there is a ribbon cable that connects directly to the rear of the card, its a true 1.0 system.

You'd be best served to throw in memory, a preprogrammed 3.7 hard drive and reprogram your voicemail and what not from scratch.
