[b]RAS 10 NT Auth. not working when SQL/RAS on different servers[/b]

Using ASP application to access RAS 10 and view reports.
Database is SQL 2000 on Windows using OLEDB


When access to SQL Server 2000 database on same machine as RAS (machine A)
(on Win20003 machine) it works fine

When accessing SQL 2000 database on machine B while RAS is still running on Machine A - report does not display

Mesage . Details: ADO Error Code: 0x80040e4d Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Description: Login failed for user 'domain\MachineA$'. SQL State: 42000 Native Error: 18456......

Hi,
Be sure the services on MachineA are running under an account that has rights to MachineB's SqlServer stuff..

The service on MachineA is running under local admin

i was able to create a new SQL User(type Windows User) called Domain\MachineA$on MachineB. i did not give the user any database access. After this I was able to view the report.
