Our trunks are configured to allow ANI along w/the option 11 switch. For some odd reason, though, when an incoming call comes in, we are able to see the ph # of the caller, but not the name. I was told this is an issue within Symposium. Any suggestion would be helpful, since my experience with it is close to nil. Thank you.

Does it work for non-symposium agents. If it doesn't then TDD is probably your issue. If it does then you need to go into the System Administration section of the FAT Client for instance. There is a section there for Phone Displays. That will dictate what is shown on the agent displays for the display templates you have defined there.

You have to be on 25.40 or better. And you have have to have NDS in the RCAP on the D-channel. You have to tell your service provider that you want name and number. This will require additional programming on the CO switch and of course you will pay more.

Make sure the Central Office is not an AT&T switch. The only way I have gotten name and number to work is when the Central Office is a Nortel DMS.
