[b]msdb is Suspect[/b]

If a msdb database becomes suspect, how can it be recovered if there is no prior backup of msdb available.

Already tried stopping and starting SQL Server Service, but didn't work.

If SQLServer will allow it on a suspect database, try these DBCC commands: DBCC CheckDB, DBCC CheckAlloc. See BOL for full details.
