Here is my scenario:
I am having latency issues when I right-click on an executable file that is located in a different state over our WAN link. When I right-click on the .exe file it will literally take at least (if not more) 30 seconds to just drop down the box. If I do the same on a .exe file that is located on a server in the same building that I am located in, it comes up much quicker.

I have used Ethereal on my workstation for both examples.

Does anybody have any ideas? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Heath

OK I'll try a stab at this one...

If the trace files have the same number of frames, in the same order, you can output the frames with the delta column. I use the IP identification number to compare the frames..

Then simply open both traces in excel and subtract the deltas.

You may also want to note if there are more frames in one trace, which may indicate dropped frames, etc...

Hope that little bit helps..
