[B]ForeColor Issue[/B] 1

I'm using Access2000. On a form I have 24 date fields, some of these will be made red due to deliquency of payment. So I used this: field1.forecolor = 255 to turn the field red. When I close the form and reopen it all of the red fields return to black. Is there a way to fix this so the red fields remain red when I reopen form?
